Srilakshmi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and was inspired by the night sky since her childhood. Having worked in the IT industry for almost two decades, she switched to a career in astronomy out of her passion. Her pedagogy is to break down and teach science concepts in a way that is easily relatable to everyday life. As an Astronomy educator, she believes that she can do her bit to instill a sense of curiosity into the young minds she works with. In her own words “Astronomy is a very profound experience and gives me a perspective of life here on the tiny blue dot that we call home”.
