Obuli Chandran, a PSG Tech Young Alumni Awardee & GD School Young Achiever Awardee, is an astronomy, physics and math educator, fueled by the passion for science. An avid book reader, he is inspired by Richard Feynman, Carl Sagan and Richard Dawkins among others. He loves to interact with kids in a manner that keeps them highly engaged and builds curiosity. He has organized numerous stargazing trips for students to incredible places – from the high altitude cold deserts of Ladakh to the warm tropical beaches of Mauritius, chasing various exciting celestial events. He also documents these mesmerizing moments through astrophotography. A science communicator at heart, he engages the public on various topics around astronomy, myth busting, and science in general, at different levels through blogs, articles, audio, video and speaking engagements.
