Wonders In The Night

A summary of the program.

Join us on an enchanting journey to learn about the wonders in the night sky and the importance of preserving our Earth.

Expert: Suresh Randadath, Environmental Conservationist

Suresh took to astronomy as a hobby 35 years ago after watching Cosmos by Carl Sagan on Doordarshan. He has not stopped looking up to the sky ever since. Carl Sagan's work had a profound impact on his character, especially the book Pale Blue Dot. That book changed his outlook to Earth and he started realising how important it is to preserve and cherish this blue marble.

Earth Reimagined is Suresh's endeavour to spread awareness about the third dimension and to visualise Earth from a new vantage point. He hopes to achieve this by popularizing astronomy; especially by taking astronomy to the classrooms and residential communities.

In this session, he will be discussing and answering kids' questions on the various wonders in the night sky and the criticality of conserving our environment by falling in love with Nature.
