A summary of the program.
Expert: Hari Haran, Scientific Officer at Cosmic Ray Laboratory.
Hari Haran is a scientific officer at Cosmic Ray Laboratory, Ooty. He works on the GRAPES-3 (Gamma Ray Astronomy PeV EnergieS phase-3) experiment, understanding and analysing the particles detected by Muon Telescopes. Cosmic Ray laboratory focuses on studying cosmic rays with an array of air shower detectors and a large area muon detector. It aims to probe the acceleration of cosmic rays in various astronomical settings.
Let your kids interact with and get their questions on cosmic ray and gamma-ray astronomy, astroparticle physics, and all the mysterious particles on the sky answered by scientific officer Hari Haran over a video conference.
