Q&A With Expert: Making It To MIT
An amazing opportunity for kids to interact with a field expert, and get their questions on automotive mechanics, entrepreneurship, and education in the US answered.
Overview
A summary of the program.
Expert: Rushil Batra, Manufacturing Engineer, TX USA
Rushil was born and raised in Delhi. He studied mechanical engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU), and completed his graduate studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in manufacturing and design. Currently, he is working as a manufacturing engineer for an oilfield services company in Houston, TX, USA.
From a young age, he has been passionate about building things. His interest grew from building small science projects in school to fabricating full-scale ATVs in college to manufacturing high-tech tools for the oil and gas industry today. Curious about how stuff worked, he used to open up old appliances at home to fix them (sometimes, he made them worse!). He believes curiosity is an inherent trait in all of us and we should never be afraid to ask questions (his teachers used to complain that he asked too many!). In his free time, he usually picks up a book, goes out for a run or plays badminton.
He is really excited to speak to all of you!
In this text-based Q&A, participants can ask him questions regarding
- Manufacturing (Machining, 3D printing, etc.)
- Product Design
- Automotive Mechanics
- Oil & Gas Industry
- Entrepreneurship, and
- Education in the US
The discussion will be in the form of a chat-based interaction and is open to all!
