From manual to autonomous vehicles, how have machines evolved?
Selva Murugesan received the B.Eng. degree in Mechatronics Engineering (Gold medalist) from Anna University in 2004 and the M.Eng. degree from LaTrobe University, Bundoora, Australia, in 2008. He also has a PhD degree from the Electronics Engineering Department, LaTrobe University. He is currently working as Chief Analytics Officer. His interest areas are data science, open data, hackathon and business strategy.
In this session, he will talk about the evolution of cars, starting from Henry Ford to Elon Musk. The discussion will also address how computer and software plays a huge role in making cars/vehicles almost autonomous.
The video-conference will happen over Zoom. We request the registrants to use the latest version of the application (5.0.1 that has enhanced security features) on their desktop/laptop/mobile phone.
