The Mango Astronomy Club

What do we do?

This is the public outreach wing of Mango Education run entirely by kids. The members of this club have been with us for more than 4 years having attended several of our astronomy programs. Be it organizing a solar eclipse or a lunar eclipse event, or celebrating solstices and equinoxes, or educating the public on astronomy topics, addressing myths and superstitions, or organizing conferences, our students got it all covered. The club members even travelled to Mauritius in 2019 to document a rare celestial event – Mercury Transit.

P.S. Just a cheat code: If you want to wake them up from their deep sleep in the middle of the night, you just need to whisper in their ears “The skies are clear and there are a lot of stars”. They will wake up.
