The Young Astronomer’s Program was conducted in an effort in teaching fundamental science and math concepts using astronomy as the theme. The three-month course encompassing weekly classes featured two-night outs to observe the planets and stars. The first night out was held on October 7, 2016, in Vidhyavanam school, Anaikkatti. High school students of the school and the students of the Young Astronomer’s Programme spent the night observing planets, stars and meteors.
